2023-04-18: Perennial Food Forest

High: 76.2
Low: 43.5
Sunny

Tasks
  • Finished laying down the soil for the curved path, spread the seeds, and watered them in
  • Planted (with the help of Hayley) the rest of the perennials, including the shady ones
  • Transplanted the closet seedlings (tomatoes, peppers) to 4" rose pots
  • Weed whacked some of the wild onions. I was pulling them at first, but I think it's better to keep the bulbs in the ground to help aerate the soil, so I am just going to cut off the tops, and leave them there to add nitrogen back.
Ideas:
  • Mow the front yard

Sometimes you have to multitask

Chopped down a lot of the wild onion greens
