High: 65.7
Low: 36.1
Sunny
Observations (after not seeing the yard for three days):
- The wind snapped the Rappahannock Pawpaw tree in half, right at the spot where I had injured it
- Comfrey patch has leaped
- Leaf curl on the peach trees (red, waxy substance -- Need to research this)
- Flowers on the Shenandoah Pawpaw (what!?!?!). And there was a fly on it.
- The seedling veggie bed looks fantastic
- Slugs on the arugula in the covered raised bed
- New growth on some of the greenhouse figs
- Some of the peas have connected with the trellis arch
- Flowers on some of the strawberries
- A single asparagus stalk has grown a lot, but no signs of growth from any other ones
Tasks
- Pruned off dead wood on the greenhouse figs
- Removed the wood chips and replaced them with leaf mulch/compost on the greenhouse figs
- Cut off some of the peach leaves that have curled
- Pulled a few weeds
- Watered the potatoes, peas, asparagus
TODO:
- Plant the groundcover plants and shrubs
- Pull weeds
