High: 65.7
Low: 36.1
Sunny

Observations (after not seeing the yard for three days):
  • The wind snapped the Rappahannock Pawpaw tree in half, right at the spot where I had injured it
  • Comfrey patch has leaped
  • Leaf curl on the peach trees (red, waxy substance -- Need to research this)
  • Flowers on the Shenandoah Pawpaw (what!?!?!). And there was a fly on it.
  • The seedling veggie bed looks fantastic
  • Slugs on the arugula in the covered raised bed
  • New growth on some of the greenhouse figs
  • Some of the peas have connected with the trellis arch
  • Flowers on some of the strawberries
  • A single asparagus stalk has grown a lot, but no signs of growth from any other ones
Tasks
  • Pruned off dead wood on the greenhouse figs
  • Removed the wood chips and replaced them with leaf mulch/compost on the greenhouse figs
  • Cut off some of the peach leaves that have curled
  • Pulled a few weeds
  • Watered the potatoes, peas, asparagus
TODO:
  • Plant the groundcover plants and shrubs
  • Pull weeds
