Observations

• A legit spring day :) Warm and sunny.
• The potato order is at Fifth Season. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow or Saturday.

Tasks

• Planted four goumis on the east fence edge (two carmine babies and two sweet scarlett adults)
• Applied leaf compost around the pawpaws
• Watered everything
• Put the veggie starts out on the porch, intending to transition them outside, in the covered raised beds
• Received Fedco seed order
• Received notification that the three pawpaws will ship next week

Ideas

• Apply leaf compost around all the other plants in the orchard
• I think I am going to hold off on planting the Matsumoto, Jiro, and Hana Fuyu persimmons. Internet is saying that they are hardy to zone 7. I also might uproot the hachiya in the front yard and put it in a container to sell.

When digging to plant the first Goumi there were a bunch of small insects and the soil smelled like Lemongrass
