High: 60.1
Low: 52.5
Cloudy and rained last night

Observations:
  • Found some mold on one of the fig trees, it happened to be placed where some rainwater was dripping. I'm wondering if it's too humid in the greenhouse, but no other tree is showing this symptom.
  • The Marseille is the first in-ground fig showing signs of life.
  • Some of the seedlings in the closet are "leggy". I moved them closer to the light, but I need to do more research on this.
  • The arugula in the covered raised bed are popping up!
Tasks
  • Posted a video question on What the Fig about pruning off potentially dead wood.
  • Dug holes for the raspberries from Plants for Everyone.
  • Picked up the order. Met a nice guy named Trent from Phantasmagoria Farms in Burnsville. They were sold out of the pomegranates, so I have a $28 refund that I might use this weekend.
  • Recorded and published a video about the garden bed.
Ideas
  • Do some pruning on the fig trees, starting from the tip and cutting until I see green.
  • Lots of planting this weekend!

Mold

Mold on this fig tree -- is it because rain water was being leaked on it? Too humid in the greenhouse?
