2023-02-21: Late Night Thinking About Peach Tree Borers

I inspected the four peach trees (followed by almost all the other orchard trees) for borer symptoms, canker, ooze, etc. One of the four peaches had some serious evidence of borers, and I even found some (?) near the base of the tree. I did my best to clear them out, and I sprayed them all with neem oil and shook out some garlic powder at the base before covering the soil lightly with mulch.

I send out three packages of cuttings to people from What the Fig who wanted some Euclid cuttings.

I made good progress on the greenhouse shelf. I just need to get it in the greenhouse and attach the fence picket planks.
