Rain and Snow

It rained a lot last night and the greenhouse held up pretty well. There were still some leaks, but it was a major improvement. There was also a significant temperature different inside vs outside the greenhouse during the day (the second sensor arrived today, so now I should be able to get accurate temperature reports).

I walked around the yard and observed lots of budding, as things start to wake up :)

I set up another tier of space in the closet for seedlings. I think I am going to do more direct sowing into the rose pots instead of germinating in moist paper towels.

I pruned a few spots on the young trees in the bedroom to encourage more of a tree-shape. I think this makes sense for the better health of the tree overall. I don't think the roots are big enough to support the relatively large amount of leafing that these trees are growing.
