Breakthrough day! I squared up and leveled out the base of the greenhouse and now everything is starting to fall into place. I got the ceiling back up, the windows (which open and close nicely), and a few ceiling panels. Just a few more ceiling panels to go and then it will be completely assembled. But of course, there is more work... Filling in the ground and adding some support to make sure the foundation is strong and doesn't move. But regardless, I felt so joyful that we were able to bounce back.
The lesson I learned is that when I build something, I need to make sure the foundation is square and level. Things that are built one a lopsided, uneven foundation are not going to last, and it's going to be a struggle trying to build on top of it. I guess I needed to learn that one. Thanks, Krsna.
I bagged up about 20 more figs for propagation. Looking good. I still have about 40-or-so more (plus a few mulberry cuttings) to do.
I've been pleasantly surprised with the traction I've gotten on the Facebook marketplace. I sold all of the Celeste trees, and have two pending orders of Longue D'Aout. I am holding one to the Euclid Adriatics, though :) Actually, I should go grab some more cuttings from the mother.
