2022-10-06: Productive Day
Thursday, October 6th, 2022 High: 73 Low: 45 Sunny Noticed that two of the ripe-ish Longue D'Aouts dropped this morning. I filmed some footage of the figs and had some thoughts about cold hardiness. Curious why some figs drop. Reached out to two mulch people. Good timing with Doug. He said he has a load he could deliver tomorrow. Transplanted two more red raspberries, for a total of five in the row. Drive in two t-posts for the trellis. Ordered the wire for it today. Major cleanup of the burn pile area. Had a nice fire and burned some junk. Hauled the grass and dirt clods over to the pile. The southwest area is looking a lot better. Watered the veggie garden. Went out when it was dark but didn't see any pests (caterpillars). Hopefully it's to cold for them now. Mowed and weed whacked
