2023-05-07: Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Melons
Sunday, May 7, 2023 High: 77.7 Low: 46.9 Partly Cloudy, Some Rain Productive day at Govinda's Garden... Pulled out a lot of Bermuda grass in the orchard. I threw down some clover seeds in their place but didn't water them. An experiment, I suppose. The Bermuda is really starting to rear its head back into the orchard. Planted some tomatoes in the orchard, and in the uncovered raised bed. Planted some cucumbers and melons (from seed) on the southwest fence trellis Transplanted two more figs into containers Planted the contorted mulberry in the hole by the fireplace Transplanted both of the Malabar Spinach seedlings into containers and put them in the greenhouse Cucumbers and melons Sungold Orchard tomatoes Pulling Bermuda Malabar spinach Contorted mulberry Red does not necessarily mean dead (un)welcome back
